SK1L Jarl

Fallkniven

What distinguishes a Swedish knife? Perhaps its seemingly simple design or its balanced proportions that offer good and safe functionality, all without unnecessary embellishments.

The clean, classic lines reflect a philosophy that honors skill and expertise, where the tool plays its role without overshadowing the one who holds the handle—the perfect combination.

The same applies to Jarl and Juni, our new knives. Handles made of curly birch, solid nickel silver fittings, and a sharp laminated 3G powder steel blade. The best in the world, in our opinion. A black leather sheath with an open and suspended design for easy access.

Jarl: similar to Earl or Duke, was a title used for the most powerful official in Sweden. The "right hand" of various Swedish kings during the Middle Ages, around the year 1000-1300 AD, Jarl was the highest-ranking public official during the time when Sweden was formed and became a nation. A strong and ancient name, not very common, but powerful and treated with respect.
