Taiga knives are distinctive and versatile hunting knives for the demanding user. A durable laminated cobalt steel blade not only ensures stable function but also quickly shows that the edge holds its sharpness very well without being brittle. The reason lies in the fine steel, well heat-treated and tempered, as well as the convex edge shape, which is not only strong but also sharp as wood. The ergonomic handle shape provides a secure grip regardless of the weather or wind.

As shown in the design, the TH1 is a handmade knife with a handle made from the exclusive Desert Ironwood. Like all natural materials, it varies in texture and color, making each knife an individual creation. A beautifully veined pattern may look appealing, but a straight stamped handle is actually stronger. Desert Ironwood, which grows in the southwestern United States, has a unique quality: it is heavier than water, with a density of 1.2 kg/dm³, meaning it will sink. If you wish to maintain or even enhance the wood's shine, treat it with log oil, furniture oil, bench oil, or any other wood oil that contains linseed oil. The fact that the blade runs the full width of the handle (the so-called full tang blade) results in a very strong and reliable construction and gives the knife a comfortable weight.
